Melanie Auld Jewelry was born with the intention of creating timeless, conversation-starting jewelry inspired by art, travel and interior design. After opening our virtual doors in 2013, operating brick-and-mortar locations across Canada became the next aspirational step in building and connecting with the MAJ community!   

 

This December 2nd, we’re celebrating the 1st and 2nd anniversaries of both boutique locations – in Vancouver and Toronto, respectively. Our stores are an extension of our vision for our business and the way we connect with the awesome customers who support us.  If you’ve ever visited a Melanie Auld Boutique IRL, you’ll know design is embedded into our in-store experiences as something at the heart of what we do.

Ossington Ave — Toronto  

Opening Day: December 2, 2021 

 

Surrounded by amazing restaurants and local businesses, our Toronto boutique is perched at the epicentre of one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods — Ossington Ave. Working with local designer Montana Labelle, we envisioned a reflective space where our community members can seek a moment of calm away from the hustle of their busy lives! 

 

Using curvature and organic lines, we softened the otherwise angular space and added plaster walls and marble for visual interest. The mirrors in the boutique were also custom made and designed to add a welcoming, peaceful feel to the space.   

West 4th Ave — Vancouver  

Opening Day: December 2, 2022 

 

It was always a dream to open a boutique on West 4th avenue, in the heart of Kitsilano — and when the opportunity presented itself, we made the move from our first ever shop on West 6th & Fir into the larger space. As our Flagship boutique, we really wanted this location to embody the DNA of the Melanie Auld brand and provide the same jewelry experiences our community has come to know us for in Toronto.  

 

Working with Gillian Segal, we combined our signature curves and plaster design with one-of-a-kind elements that add a playful, colourful touch to the space. The beautiful details juxtaposed with unexpected design really speak to the essence of Melanie Auld Jewelry and the way we connect with our community.
