Celebrating Motherhood with the BC Women’s Health Foundation – a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the full spectrum of women’s health through research, innovation, awareness and advocacy. 

 

Here at MAJ, celebrating our community is at the foreground of what we do! With that in mind, we are honoured to continue our ongoing partnership with the BC Women’s Health Foundation and support their mission in advancing women’s health in BC and Canada. In 2023 – we are launching the Mama Tag Pendant in gold vermeil, where with each purchase 100% off net proceeds will be donated to BCWHF in honour of empowering women nation wide.  

 

 

Since beginning our partnership in 2018, the Melanie Auld community has donated $71,300 towards transformational investments in equipment, programming, and research in women’s health. Here’s the impact you’ve made by the numbers: 

 

- The BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre provided the highest quality care to 70,500 patients in over 60 specialized clinics and programs. This included over 6000 babies delivered in the maternity department.  

- The BC Women's Hospital immunoassay analyzer, a donor-funded piece of equipment, tested every single newborn in BC and the Yukon for a life-threatening metabolic condition.  

- The Women's Health Research Institute (WHRI) continued to support over 450 of their members advance cutting-edge research that is fundamentally impacting the landscape of women's health.
