Meet our Moderator and Panelists

Sophie Collins - Moderator

Sophie is a mother to Liam and Charlie (with another little boy on the way) and lives in Vancouver with her husband. She is the cofounder and creative director of home goods & lifestyle brand One Wednesday and shares her personal wellness ethos through her podcast Obsessed With Feeling My Best.

Melanie Auld - Panelist

Melanie is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of her namesake jewelry brand, Melanie Auld Jewelry. Founded in 2013 she runs the company ,alongside her husband, from Vancouver, BC where they reside with their two kids. Over the years Melanie Auld Jewelry has been featured in countless top tier publications, sold in exclusive retail stores and most recently Melanie was honoured at the Canadian Art & Fashion Awards as Accessory Designer of the Year. 

Melanie is passionate about women’s health and giving back in a meaningful way, supporting the communities that have supported her along her journey and advocating for greater awareness around health inequities.   

Erin Sousa - Panelist

Erin is an IVF mom and also has a successful Substack called The Mom Flow where her community of moms enjoy relatable motherhood topics. She started her blog in 2011 and has since grown her engaged audience and authentic following. Instagram is Erin’s most well-followed channel, and her followers turn to her for inspiration in all areas of life, including beauty, decor, business, health and lifestyle. She only partners with brands who are a genuine fit for her lifestyle and followers.

Erin also owns Sousa Creative Co., a boutique marketing company that works with brands like Smash + Tess and Vintner’s Daughter to create marketing strategies using social and Influencer partnerships to build brand value. Whether it is for her marketing clients, or for brands as an Influencer, the content she creates is always on-trend, and reflects the brands she represents in the most authentic way. Many of her clients have seen impressive brand growth as a result of her services, and she has executed launch campaigns with brands like Sesame Street and Jillian Harris. Erin, her home, and her work have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Vancouver Sun, People Magazine, The Globe and Mail and BC Living.

Gillian Segal - Panelist

Gillian Segal founder and principal designer at her eponymous firm, Gillian Segal Design. Her work has since gone on to be recognized and shared by some of the top shelter publications including Architectural Digest, Elle Décor and The New York Times. Gillian believes that the interior space is an opportunity for self-expression.

When she’s not at her studio, Gillian can be found with husband and their two young daughters – and motherhood she says, has made her a stronger designer and business owner. She is also dedicated both personally and professionally to philanthropic endeavours. Gillian also acts as an ambassador for BC Women’s Hospital foundation where she co-chairs a committee committed to raising funds and awareness for the foundation and Women’s health.
